Important Notice: To all HELB Loan beneficiaries

HELB is now partnering with the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) to trace loan defaulters.

The Board is in possession of all relevant information pertaining to all defaulters who benefited from the university loan scheme from 1974 to date.

The Board is thus imposing a KES 5000 levy for each month or part of the month that remains unpaid since the maturity of the loan.

All loanees without any income are thus advised to register their details on their website (this excludes self-employed loanees).
