  1. For purposes of easier revision on English paper 1 and 2 let the candidates be aware of which setbook will be tested on both papers it should not be a rumour as it was in my year until I read reversed way(paper 2 text for paper3).Now that western province did not produce any school in bottom 50 category, teachers need to be motivated by the Govt. and urged to work harder and so should other provinces emulate

  2. To me i thing the problem is the teachers who do mark the kcse, hence fail.I hd tht those who mark the xam are being paid on the no of the papers thy mark.so this will make them mark very fast 4 him or her to earn alot.as the wise man says tht hary hary has no blessing, this will undermine those who did the xams.lke ths xams ws very easy indid bt so many failed y.is nt tht thy hv bin slping those 4yrs.it is the marking system.i thing ths teachers should try there bst to be vry fare to every cadidate.

  3. ITS QUITE SHAMEFUL AND DEVASTATING THAT YEAR IN YEAR OUT KENYANS LOOSE A LOT OF MONEY SENDING UN RESPONDING MESSAGES TO THE NUMBER GIVEN BY KNEC. I FALL A VICTIM AFTER BEING ASSURED THAT CHARGES WILL BE DONE AFTER THE RESPONSE,UNFORTUNATELY I WAS CHARGED FOR BEING FOOLED ENOUGH .CAN THE GOVERNMENT STOP THIS KIND OF EXTORTION FROM PARENTS ,STUDENTS,AND RELATIVES OF CANDIDATES DUE TO ANCIERTY TO GET THE RESULTS?I HOPE KNEC IS DOING SOMETHING TO CHANGE ITS REPUTATION ONGERI DO SOMETHING OR ELSE SOMEBODY WILL FEEL INFRINGED ON HIS RIGHTS FOR A BREACH OF CONTRACT SUE AND GET COMPANSATED MILLIONS OF SHILLINGS ,I THINK THAT WILL TEACH THEM A LESSION IF THEY DONT LEARN FROM KCB VS THE CLIENT.”A WISE MAN LEANRNS FROM OTHER PEOPLES MISTAKES WHILE FOOLS FROM THEIR OWN.”

  4. Almost all our kenyan children nowadays qualifies to join universities, but the very big question is,are there enough markets to take them after completion?the government should be cracking its head to axpand opportunities 4 this children .

  5. GOVERNMENT IS NOT FAIR WE ARE TIRED OF HEARING ONLY ABOUT NATIONAL FEW SCHOOLS YEAR IN YEAR OUT SO THE MINISTER OUGHT TO,BALANCE FORM ONE SELECTION ,BY ATLEAST GIVING DISTRIC SCHOOLS BRIGHT STUDENTS.THEY SHOULD THEN TAKE WEAK STUDENTS TO NATIONALS SO THAT THEY CAN BE UPGRADED.I WILL PERSONALLY BE GRATEFULL.ABOUT TEACHERS,WE HAVE ENOUGH BUT THEY ARE NOT EMPLOYED CLAIMS OF NO MONEY YET 8MILLION WAS SENT TO SOUTHERN SUDAN.HOW CAN A BEGGER HELP A BEGGER,WE HAD BETTER CONCENTRATE ON OUR PROBLEMS WHICH ARE TO MANY.

  6. more teachers to be employed and even their salaries be raised. imagine someone with a certificate course in other fields earn more than a graduate teacher!!!!!!!!!!.

  7. Kudos Kanjuri High school in Nyeri. Bravo to the Headmaster for instilling discipline and making us proud. Am so proud to be associated with you………..former student in 70′s

  8. It is time the ministry of education considers the students from lowly established school when it comes to university selection.Majority of these students study under very complicated environments but due to their academic potentialities, they attain incredible grades which of course don’t meet the current cut of points for sponsorship ;this system favors alot the students from bigger school. Thanks Hon. Ongeri for realizing this trend in primary level, please go ahead and do something in university selection to give chance to a poor potential Kenyan child.Thank you

  9. K.N.E.C Please do something on your website t’s too slow gava ifanye kitu waiting 4 too lonng.

  13. I think Kenya still needs more in terms of technology. The Knec system can’t accomodate just a number of kenyans who want to check for results. We need to upgrade on this in order to archive vision 2030. Things are going online!!!!Lets upgrade our servers

  14. The govt should do something on this drastic delay both the web & the sms are not solving any problem in fact it’s causing more problem as tension is becoming high.Pliz do something about it.

  15. system, system, system. when will the government catch up with the private sector when it comes to IT Development. http://www.knec.ac.ke hangs for an hour then the webpage is unavailable, shame!!! why cant they borrow a leaf from websites like nationmedia, safaricom, orange, standardgroup etc visited by millions everyday but dont jam wacha hii yao that is visited maybe once or twice a year.

  16. If the strategies laid to curb cheating last year have been implemented.let the government also implement the the recruitment of more teachers to allow more opportunities to other scarce areas.hongera for the decline in cheating kip it up….

  17. JAB Should admit students who get c+ and above. Why torture us mentaly? It seems as if we are being used and damped. Its very sad!

  18. this your system is kinda silly.
you are not delivering the quality of the current century.
    what a system!
can you find something even good?
    embarrassing.

  19. is the ministry of higher education and joint admissions board ready to admit students to the university at the end of this year?
congrats! for curbing irregularities in examinations.

  20. How comes the knec website is not working.Instead it is adding us more fury.Let me hope it is not you who are preventing me from accessing my results.

  21. 2010 canditates who cheat on exams dropped in number from 100 plus 2009 to 500 2010.
Bravo to the ministry of Education and examination council for working out this manace.

  22. revise the objectives of education and have the system produce independent-minded kenyans not exams-obsessed individuals. This I think is a new form of slavery.

  23. …do you mean at Mtihani house there are no competent technical expertise to stream their websites and prevent congestion?what a shame!what an aweful experience! shape up your network or ship out.

  24. I think the govt should do something to speed up this issue we are really tired of waiting and getting negative responses from the web.

  25. knec please enhance your website’s speed for people to access their results on time.

  26. The government should increase the pay for teachers and all will work well with the education sector

  27. Is my laptop deceiving me? oh no! i guess not. How long are gonna wait for the results to be posted on this site. Kenyan govt always slow in implementation, but first in stealing and corruption, nkt.

  28. sometimes it is important to talk with information, kipkorir doesn’t seem to know what it takes to be a teacher in Kenya at such a time as this. they do sacrifice for some ungrateful minds like him, but those who understand the deal, will forever be grateful, i have learned to do that. my teachers have never made it to the level i have, but i will never forget their genuine sacrifice. the government needs to face its responsibility of making sure that the student-teacher ratio is workable.

  29. Bwana, bring us result ya 2010 Kcse? i’m googling bt sioni or give me a different site that can lead me to get.

  30. System gani are we undergoing after passing our form four certificate waiting to join an university in Kenya?
sometimes you wonder when you find somebody telling you she/he is seventeen year bt second year in university.kwani alimaliza secondary ikiwa na mwika ngapi? when we know student mwenye hakurepeat sometimes humaliza na 17/18 years.Shame on us.
Is that real the system of education in Kenya?

  31. In this time of an era pupils and students tend to do exams as a matter of competing for the top positions. They ignore the fact that people should do exams so as to gain knowledge and skills which can help them in daily undertakings. This comes up because of the government putting more seriousness and stressing about the announce of results more so featuring the most performed candidates.

  32. KNEC please adjust your internet capacity. It consumes time, wastes valuable working hours. Get tips from Nationa Examination Council of Tanzania. Theirs is much faster.

  33. y does the goverment offer transfers to teachers who are teaching within their society of living inorder they can think about giving quality education to students, becoz if they still remain on their locality they wil think about home affairs

  34. the sites and SMS service is not working, both the sites are down and its really bad that they had not prepared for the increased traffic on the site….

  35. can the government organize for the seminars/training for the non teaching staff in order to increase more value education and for them to be more proficient with their tasks.

  36. For education and results to improve, the ministry of education must introduce performance contract in schools. This way, teachers will be compelled to do their best if they want to remain relevant. Again it will give many talented people to train as teachers knowing that chance will come their way at some point.

  37. our exam system is pathetic……y doesnt the government adapt a system which matches up with the job market…or collaborate with kenya employers to know the available jobs n carrers….another thing, wat is the government doing about the problem of public campuses choosing carrers for students…it isnt fair….i go to a campus even on parallel program n am required to choose a subject they like…that would lead to me geting emloyed in the sector i neva imagined thus poor productivity..do sth abt it, plz

  38. men this thing about you fellaz having a network jam is inappropriate for us fellas who want to know how our friends have perfomed…………UPGRADE YOUR SYSTEM ONCE AND FOR ALL…….!!!!!!???!!?!?!?@

  39. To solve the problem of shortage of teachers in high schools, government should employ qualified university graduates though B.E.D holders

  40. it is the duty of government to employ more teachers in order to improve the education sector in the country

  41. the govt. in conjunction with the ministry of education should empower extension services in secondary schools as well as offer exchange programs good luck to my dear brothers and sisters.god bless you all, regards

  42. The government should formulate a policy such that the maximum period headteachers stay in one station is five years.

  43. the gorvenment in collaboration with the ministry of education should actually employ more qualified teachers to reduce the ratio of teachers to student. This will help the student to seek for further explaination of some crucial points that he/she didn’t get clear in class as well as the teachers.

  44. the government should get serious and employ enough teachers to certify the increasing number of pupils in our schools, there are so so many teachers who are jobless out there.
